Ba Noi's!

October 27, 2011, Thursday
Ba Noi's Vietnamese Restaurant, Venice Piazza, Starbucks MC Home

So after my turning 26, it's my great friend of 10years++ Gayle's turn and we decided to grab a nice quiet dinner with another equally old friend, Charm. ( love love love!)

Gayle just came back from a trip from Vietnam and hasn't quite moved on from the awesomeness of their food so we made it a point to dine at one of Makati's hush hush awesome restaurant, Ba Noi's. ( i like that word, awesome. awesome awesome awesome!)

our server, dressed supposedly in traditional vietnamese dress, Ao Dai

birthday girl choosing which to eat!

Vietnamese fried rice. I know i keep promising better pictures, but for now, hu hu, this is all i can afford.

fresh spring rolls

of course, any vietnamese meal is not complete without the pomelo and shrimp salad

beef grilled in sugarcane

chicken in curry vinaigrette ( not quite certain if it is curry vinaigrette, do correct me on that one!)

another staple, Vietnamese drip coffee with condensed milk. Very very strong!
Kept us well and alive the whole night.

We enjoyed the restaurant's cozy ambiance, with few foreigners dining as well and several Vietnamese ornaments doting the walls. The place provides free wi-fi as well however, they don't have good vietnamese music to go with the mood. It's not a major factor for me but it could've made our experience more complete =)
After the hearty dinner, we drove to Venice Piazza's 2minute House of Horrors.
Cheap thrill, p80 =)

Us 3.

Happy Birthday Gayle! Hugs and kisses! xoxoxoxooxo

Cheers! Until the next! =)
