Asparagus!

DAY 6. August 23. Assessment


Thank goodness we were let off early today; class ended around 10:30am coz we had a scheduled exam. Im feeling sleepy a while ago when driving home but for some reason when i got home, all hopes for sleep went away!

For today's quiz i picked Cream of Asparagus ( rather, chanced upon!) So here: while simmering (After sweating) the asparagus with butter, boil with stock and simmer after.



After 20 minutes, I used a blender to thoroughly puree the asparagus with the stock. Used a sieve the drain the ground veggies from the soup, added hot, heavy cream to make it er.. creamy. Ta-da!


I can't help but feel extremely happy every after class, despite it being really really early.
