My bestfriend of 10 years has been bugging me constantly about this awesome, awesome tucked in ribs place in Tomas Morato called RUB and we finally got the chance to do it this week.
We had such a nice time eating, aughing. And since we got there around 10PM-ish, we had the second floor all to ourselves. The ambience was quite a comfortable one albeit small ( not for the claustrophobic!), the only thing difficult is the street parking (or lack thereof).
As for the food line-up..
menu's quite simple and inexpensive with the basics in it, salad, ribs, etc. and of course, that we ordered.
We asked the RUB people which salad is their more popular one and they recommended the Lemon Salad, which i find weird tasting because they have there red and green bell pepper which made it taste oriental-ly and also the lemon sauce which reminds me of a greek salad, so it's all so confusing. I really wouldn't recommend it.
Now bes and i had a great laugh because of this picture! We were both so hungry that we forgot to take a BEFORE picture and only realized it until we finished the whole slab of rib AND the 2 sidedishes ( coleslaw and potato salad ) for only p350ish! Really inexpensive, plus it was cooked to perfection!
And as if it's not enough, we went to Kimono Ken for dinner afters, and we felt like pigs ready to be roasted! I ordered mango ala mode and he ordered the green tea jelly. So full! I especially love his order of green tea and i find myself getting from his order! Ahihi!
