Kitchen's Best!

So, it's another awesome Friday out with my great girls Carol and Zara for late dinner and we decided to check out and bond over cake at this newly opened ( actually on soft opening! ) cool, cozy place in FBGC, DKS building, Kitchen's Best Home Patisserie. 

 

I haven't been to their Pasong Tamo extension branch but i have to say their BGC spot is perfect. I used to work around the area and their area has awesome people traffic, very good exposure. We got there around 9PM already but the place is still packed despite it's soft opening.

Since we were unfamiliar with the menu, the waiter recommended that we get the bread with mushroom dip for starters. Anddddd.. that's all we ordered ( apart from the 2 cakes, of course). I regret that we had a late dinner instead of having an actual dinner since we have little room for much food.

I've read that this is their award winning cake, Mango Sans Rival

Im not a big fan of sans rival because of its buttery taste but their version of it tasted okay.

Thumbs up. But! the cheesecake was a bit flanny. like it's more flan like cheesecake.

Overall, ambiance is awesome; cozy and homey. Price of food is also affordable. The only problem that i'm seeing here is the parking. If you're not familiar with the area, you'll miss the parking entrance in front the restaurant, plus it's mostly being occupied by the office people around BGC. But, there are other parking spots like the one at the back of the building. Just be careful of the one-way traffic system.
