We all have our own guilty pleasures in life, me, i have the smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning. And with good coffee, there's nothing like the wonderful smell of fresh baked bread not only in the morning but for the whole day.

Last November 22, as I was making my way to deposit a check to BDO SM NorthEdsa branch, i can't help but follow the buttery, sweet, dough-y smell, and like one of them mice, the bread Pied Pipper lead me straight to Tous Le Jours.

Tous Le Jours (Too - Le - Joo) - which means in EVERYDAY or EACH DAY in French, is a French- Asian bakery which recently opened their first store last November 11, 2011 in The Block, SM North Edsa. With their first ever branch opened more than 10 years ago in Korea, now they also have branches all across US, China and Vietnam and has reached its 1000th branch last 2008. Talk about success!

For me, one word to best describe the cafe / bread store is simplicity. They offer fresh baked breads and gorgeous cakes at very affordable prices. I like that they propped a classic mint green cruiser bike in front of their store to make the customers feel up and at 'em and also, since breads were traditionally delivered door to door by bicycles.

Stores in Korea and US offer hot and iced coffee selections while the branch here offer only bread albeit a wide selection of it and several Korean beverages. I asked one of their staff which they would recommend and they suggested Namyang Crushed Peach Juice (P58) and it's awesomeness in a bottle. It's literally crushed. peach. with juice. Nyumnyum. Wayy to cool down the hot afternoon.

Assortment of breads!

I wrote about Manila Hotel's awesome cream cheese danish a few months ago and so i decided to try theirs as well for P68. It's not all that bad but i still like Manila Hotel's. *teehee*

One of their lady staff also suggested their Custard Cream Bread for only P38 and i took the last piece, they said it's one of their best sellers and just that morning one buyer bought an entire batch!

I was only supposed to get the cream cheese, the custard bread and the Namyang crushed peach juice, but while waiting for my turn to pay, i got a little antsy and decided to look again for more breads to buy!
