TGIF, G3
It's 4PM in the afternoon and here I am in Friday's Makati for my R&R friday blog day. Instead of the usual venti white chocolate mocha non fat no whip 2 pumps extra hot, im now having:
Yes, Unlimited Classic Mojito.
Well, anyway, last November 22, Tuesday, we had an alternative learning program (ALP) at Terry's Bistro, Terry's Selection at Pasong Tamo. Don't get me wrong, i eat out A LOT, but for a party of 6, this is quite an expensive lunch. We ordered about 18 items off their wonderful menu and our bill totaled P11,896! But i gotta say, money well spent!
Janine and Tere heading up the tiled stairs, giving us the Old Spanish feel
Marques de Caceres, red wine c/o Chef RJ, teaching us how to properly drink wine.
(swirl, smell, sip, don't swallow, swirl inside mouth, swallow)
P1,348
wine collection
laid back ambience
Menu
Cheese Croquette, P258.93
Forget to note down what this is called, but it's some sort of omelet with chorizo for starters
Chorizos with bread, also for starters
Cheese omelet
Caesar salad, P290.10
Cochinillo with apple and peach compote, P1,428.57
Chef said the pork was cooked sous vide for a long time and quickly deep fried giving it the crunchiest, yummiest pork skin ever!
Super Paella, P660.71
rice pilaf with cochinilla
Cocido Madrileno, P669.14
Prosecco, P879.46
Yummy cocido!
Red snapper, P321.43
2 servings of everything which is why we're all stuffed crazy after! Again, i gotta say, best lunch i've had in a long time. Definitely a place to back to!
Cheers! Until the next! :)
